The strap fastens with a pin buckle and has several holes, so most wrists are covered straight out of the box. If it still runs long, the excess can be trimmed at the free end by a watchmaker.
3 ATM is a 30-metre water resistance rating. In daily use that covers rain, hand washing and accidental splashes. It is not built for swimming, showering or diving, and the crown should always be pushed fully in.
